much, much more. Glen Echo offers a combination of factors that will ensure you
a truly memorable fishing trip. It all starts Serious about fishing? Good. So are we! Because we’re serious about fishing, we’ve equipped all of our boats with electric start motors, fishfinders, swivel seats and livewells. We take all of our new guests for a tour of the "hot spots" so you’ll know where the fish are and we’ll discuss the best presentation for the time of year you’re fishing. We ever provide you with a hydrographic map of the area. Really serious about fishing? Then why not book one of our three fully equipped deep V bass boats. We have excellent fish cleaning facilities equipped with running water and we will even show you the best way to clean the fish. Once you’ve fished Glen Echo, we’re sure you will agree with our slogan "Now that’s fishing!" A Room With A View New Air Conditioned For Your Comfort We offer spacious one, two, three and four bedroom housekeeping cottages with large picture windows, most giving a beautiful view of Lake Nipissing. These are some of the cleanest and most comfortable cottages you will find anywhere. Each cottage features wall to wall carpeting, thermostatically controlled heat and air conditioning and a three or four piece bathroom with hot and cold running water and hairdryers. The water supply at Glen Echo comes from a 250’ well and is tested annually. Our executive cottages feature a large walk-out deck, a gas fireplace, plus many other upgrades that are sure to please. Time doesn’t stand still and neither do we. Each cottage rental has been equipped with all the modern conveniences such as microwave oven, colour TV, VCR, clock radio, propane BBQ, refrigerator with full width freezer, stove, electric toaster and a coffee maker (we even supply the filters). The matching dishes, glasses and cutlery add a nice touch and of course there is a complete set of pots, pans and cooking utensils, Blankets, linens and pillows are supplied, but we do not furnish towels, tea towels, or toilet tissue. Those lines we do supply are changed weekly. As you can see we have gone to great lengths to ensure that you have a comfortable stay at Glen Echo Cottages. "More Than Great Fishing" Our guests enjoy free use of our recreational facilities which include: canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, knee boards, horseshoes, sauna, etc. We have a children’s playground and there is no charge for the firewood. The area is very safe for swimming and water skiing. Our sandy beach is shallow and clean. We also have a large water raft and kiddies waterslide. During your tour of the fishing hot spots, we will also show you safe boating areas and places to take the family swimming, picnicking and birdwatching. There are 4 golf courses nearby as well as mini-putt, and horseback riding. Many of our guests have spent an enjoyable afternoon exploring the studios of the local artisans. Boat and train tours as well as hiking trails are available. Callander and North Bay both feature numerous shopping opportunities as well as museums and other points of interest. During the months of September and October you can enjoy the splendor of the fall colours. Camping Our campground features sites with firepits, picnic tables, electric and water hook-ups as well as a central washroom facility with showers and flush toilets. experience. You stay on the ice in our comfortable, fully equipped four and six

It features a fireplace as well as all the other amenities that have made Glen Echo Cottages famous. Our regular ice fishing huts are clean, warm and well equipped. Snowmobilers can explore the extensive trails of "Ontario’s Near North" then return to Glen Echo Cottages and relax in our deluxe cottage. Summer Cabins In the summer our ice fishing bungalows are converted to summer cabins. Electric lights, toaster, refrigerator and a colour TV are added. Methods of Payment At Glen Echo Cottages we accept the
following methods of payment Terms & Conditions Reservations: We require a deposit of $60.00 per person or $300.00 per cottage (whichever is greater), which will be refunded immediately in full if you cannot be accommodated. No post dated cheques. Equipment reserved will be charged for in full, unless cancelled 45 days before start of vacation. We reserve the right to substitute accommodations and equipment should the need arise due to circumstances beyond our control. You do not have a reservation unless your deposit has been received and confirmed by us in writing. Refunds: No refunds for late arrivals or early departures. No credit given if facilities offered or equipment arranged for is not used or for outboard gas left in our tanks Cancellations: A $50.00 administrative fee applies to all cancellations. The balance of your deposit is returned to you provided 60 days notice of cancellation was received and the vacancy created by your cancellation has been re-rented failing which, deposit is forfeited. Payment: Please be prepared to settle your account upon arrival in cash, traveler’s cheques, Interact, VISA or MasterCard. Sorry, no personal cheques accepted. No Shows: Guests, not showing up at the pre-arranged time and date without giving notice by phone or mail constitute "no shows" and will be held liable for 100% of the total of their reservation. Check-in and Check-out: Check in time 3 p.m. Check - out time 9 a.m. Other check - in and check - out times by prior arrangement. If you arrive sooner please be prepared to wait. Nipissing is consistently rated as one of the top 10 walleye fishing waters in
Ontario and we are situated right next to their major spawning grounds. We also
have one of the most under-rated smallmouth fisheries in the province of
Ontario. Northern Pike are plentiful and every year Callander Bay coughs up a
muskie in the 25 – 30 lb. range. If you’re planning a family
vacation, the kids are certain to enjoy catching the numerous pan
fish.
