About us

What can we say about us? Well, we’ll start by letting you know that we have made Rainbow Point Lodge not only our business, but also our home for over twenty years now. We’ve loved the camp life, and our 2 daughters have grown up having the wonderful opportunity to get to know many of our guests and the fantastic staff members we’ve had over the years.

Before entering the camp business we were living and working in the Ear Falls area just north of the lodge. Bob had worked in the tourist business previously as a bush pilot, and had the opportunity to visit and get to know many of the local camps. When we looked at Rainbow Point Lodge, we fell in love with it immediately. The location is perfect with a long expanse of shoreline, and the lush cedars and pines remind you that you are in the midst of the one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

We understand the value of good service and happy customer. It is our aim to see that your vacation is everything it is meant to be and that you’ll want to return soon. We’re proud to see so many of you returning year after year, and honored to call you our friends.

Accommodations

Rainbow Point Lodge Accommodations

After a great day on the lake settle down and relax in your own cozy cottage. All units are situated near the lakefront offering you an excellent view. They vary in size to accommodate from 2 to 12 people comfortably and are fully equipped with modern 3 piece bath, plenty of hot and cold water and full size fridge, stove and microwave. 2 and 3 bedroom units available.

Our on-site water purification system ensures clean, safe drinking water to all of our cottage units. All blankets and linens are supplied and each cottage is equipped with safe, comfortable electric heat. Kitchens contain all you’ll need for housekeeping, such as dishes, pots and pans, coffee pot, toaster, etc. The only things we ask you to bring are your bath and dish towels. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our cottages and equipment. This feature, combined with well manicured grounds will only add to your pleasurable vacation.

Here’s a lake you never get tired of. Fabulous structure, plenty of bays and islands, a river and several connecting lakes, all combine to make Perrault Lake one of the finest fishing lakes in Northwestern Ontario.

You will find consistently good fishing and a great variety of species throughout the season. Walleye, northern, small mouth bass, perch musky and whitefish – All Right Here! There is a very healthy population of fish in all age classes, so you know you’re fishing a healthy, productive lake that will continue to provide great fishing opportunities long into the future.

For those of you who would like the experience of fly-in fishing during your stay, we can also arrange a day trip for, with one of the reputable air services in the area.

Boat & Motor Rentals

Rainbow Point Lodge offers the finest fleet of boats and motors you will find in the area. Our 16’ aluminum boats are very wide and stable. We had the manufacturer custom build these boats to our specifications, with interior walk-thru and flat carpeted floors, along with 4 swivel seat locations. Our new, 20 h.p. motors ensure you of hassle free fishing. You will find this, one of the safest and user-friendly combos. Our staff meticulously clean and service our equipment weekly and we take pride in the reliability and usability of our fleet.

For those of you who choose to bring your own boat, we have a cement boat ramp, and plenty of dockage space with electrical service available.

Family Fun & Recreation

Rainbow Point Lodge has plenty to offer the family vacationer and nature seeker as well as the sportsman. Our recreation room is a super place to pass the evening or a rainy day, with its pool table, shuffle board, darts and more. Our horseshoe pits, ring toss and beach volleyball court are used by young and old, and are a fun part of group challenges during the week. For the kids there is also a sand beach and play area. Every Tuesday is fish fry night at the lodge. This long time tradition is a great time to meet the other guests and enjoy some fresh fish and fries cooked the Rainbow way on our natural wood barbecue. Mid to late summer is also the perfect time to combine your fishing trip with some fabulous berry picking.
